This might be the stupidest comment from a CEO posted on Reddit in history!
A day ago a Reddit user noticed that Cappasity (a random shitcoin) was closing their Telegram channel.
Reddit user u/SurvivedTheHashwar was wearing his kind hat that day and figured that he could give /r/cryptocurrency a heads up to not invest in Cappasity and be weary of a potential exit scam.
For that he had various proof, such as the fact that the Cappasity Telegram was closed, and they build a new one without advertising that it was created. There are also other sketchy things happening that might point to price manipulations. And since Cappasity is a security in the US, they can get sued for that pulling that kinda crap.
All proof that Cappasity might be a potential (If you are wondering why we keep using “potential” keep reading) scam:
Those are some serious accusations from u/SurvivedTheHashwar, but they are all legit and backed with proof.
What would you do if you were the CEO and had to respond?
What would you post if someone accused you of running a scam?
This CEO had a very bright idea to start threatening random anonymous internet users instead of addressing the issues!
Now realize that this guy got millions in fundings, and he still thinks this is a great response. Apparently he never heard about the Barbara Streisand Effect. Congrats mr. CEO, you can see it in effect!
This is also the reason why we keep using potential. I am totally not feeling a lawsuit, so you have to make up your own mind on Cappasity.
All in all, stay clear from this token and their CEO, any critical thoughts are met with bans and threatening. Not someone you would normally trust, especially not with money!
